May 15, 2014   ·   0 Comments

15 young Dufferin artists/performers delivered a wonderful “Evening of Entertainment” in support of the Dufferin Arts Council Scholarship Program at Grace Tipling Hall May 9th. All were past recipients of DAC scholarships and, under the co-ordination of Patty Clark, they volunteered to give back to the program which had given them financial support and encouragement when they launched their careers and education in a chosen creative field. Talents included visual artists, dancers, singers, musicians, writers, video game and digital artists, theatre costume designers and performers, and hand crafted guitars. The event saw close to 200 in attendance to enjoy the new artists and performers and raised over 2000 dollars for the scholarship fund.
