Baby season is in full swing at Procyon Wildlife. The nurseries are filling up quickly with orphaned wild infants who require round the clock care 7 days a week. If you are interested in a fulfilling volunteer position, look no further. Animal care shifts are still available. The morning shift runs from 5 – 9 a.m., the midday shift from noon to 4 p.m. and the evening shift starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Training is provided. Volunteers are also needed to build nest boxes and do minor repairs and maintenance on the property. You must be 18 years of age to handle the animals. For more information or to sign up, please send an email to volunteering.procyon@yahoo.ca. Procyon Wildlife is a registered charity operating on donations and staffed by volunteers.
