With 20 years experience, Judge Brian Dudgeon from Paisley, Ontario, had some tough decisions to make at Shelburne’s Fall Fair 2014. Dudgeon admitted this year’s entries were very close calls as standards were remarkably high in every class.
Dudgeon himself is experienced in large beef farming to cow calf operations to feed lot. As a farmer has also had pure bred operations and has shown across America and Canada winning many of those shows under the name of Snake Creek Charolais. Having Judged all over Ontario, this Fall Fair was not Dudgeon’s first visit to Shelburne. In fact, Dudgeon fondly remembers showing here as a child.
Drawing a very large crowd of observers, the 4–H Club proud and true showed professionally making the caliber of the show set to very high standards.
