December 14, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Jason Riedel as King Arthur and Danielle Gamache as the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, the off the wall musical comedy based on the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. LP Stage Productions opened the show at Grace Tipling Hall just one week after their successful run of Dear Edwina featuring over 30 local youth. Director Alison Port described Spamalot: “The story centers on King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Arthur, traveling with his servant Patsy, recruits several knights to accompany him on his quest. When he and his band of misfit knights finally gather in Camelot, they receive a charge from God to find the Holy Grail. The quest brings King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table to bizarre places and into the company of quirky characters, challenging them to keep their heads on straight or die terribly strange deaths!” Spamalot runs December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 8 p.m., and December 5, 6, 12, 13 at 2 p.m. at Grace Tipling Hall, 203 Main Street East, Shelburne. Tickets available on-line, at the Town Hall, and at the door.
