On Tuesday December 8th, at 8:15 a.m., Dufferin OPP officers were dispatched to the Mono-Amaranth Public School with a report of graffiti on school property.
Upon arrival at 8:35 a.m., police spoke with the school principal. The investigation revealed that between 6:30 p.m. on December 7th, and 8 a.m. on December 8th, persons unknown painted graffiti on the rear north side of school and on a portable classroom. Vandals used black and white spray paint and painted the words “SOOL” on the portable classroom. At the rear of the school, on the brick which faces the north side, the letters “GOAL” written in black spray paint in white quotations. This type of senseless damage is costly to taxpayer and Upper Grand School Board officials
