LP Stage Productions zany musical comedy Monty Python’s Spamalot finished its run at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne on December 13th. With book & lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, the comedic antics of Arthur and the Knights of The Round Table kept the audiences in stitches, looking “on the bright side of life,” while some excellent singing voices, especially “Lady of the Lake” Danielle Gamache’s belt vocals, thrilled the audience. Seen here Dale Lundy (left) played the page “Patsy”, while Josh Priess took on the roles of “Sir Bors” and “Sir Not Appearing,” Jason Riedel was “King Arthur,”and Jack Brooks (top) also took on dual roles as “Tim the Enchanter” and “Herbert’s Father.” LP Stage Productions will be back with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, (rights pending) the popular musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on the biblical story of Joseph, who went from prisoner to Pharaoh’s right hand man in ancient Egypt. Watch for auditions in January.
