Single vehicle collision

On Thursday October 16, at 6:40 p.m. Dufferin OPP were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Dufferin County Rd. #17 at the 3rd Line in Melancthon Township. Dufferin EMS and Shelburne Fire Department also responded.
Preliminary investigation reveals that vehicle left roadway and struck a tree. The female driver suffered minor injuries to the head and was transported to Headwaters Health Centre with minor non-life threatening injuries.
If any person witnessed this collision they are asked to contact Provincial Constable Ryan Welsh of Dufferin OPP via the OPP Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
