On March 29, at 8:13 p.m. Dufferin OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Airport Rd. in Mulmur Township. Police detected an odour of alcohol on driver’s breath.
The driver provided roadside sample of breath into an approved screening device and registered a fail and arrested for Drive Motor Vehicle over 80 mgs of alcohol. The driver was transported to Caledon Detachment for breath test.
As a result the Noah Randeraad, 31 year of age, of Melancthon was charged with Care and Control and Drive Motor vehicle over 80 mgs contrary to Criminal Code of Canada. His license was suspended for 90 days. He will appear in Orangeville court at a later date to answer to the charges.
