Voting Liberal

April 1, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Dear editor:
I will have difficult time voting for any party in the next Canadian federal election. I used to support the Conservatives, but I have never supported Mr. Harper and his undemocratic, fascist policies. I was even thinking of volunteering for the Federal Liberal party during the next election, but I am now questioning that. The Liberals are voting in favour of Bill C–52 (don’t give me the BS about changing it LATER), they support the XL Pipeline, they support the TPP Trade deal and they seem to be supporting expending involvement in the war in the Middle East. All these are bad for Canada and bad for Canadians. When will the Liberals decide where they stand; with Canadians or with Steven Harper? As for the voting NDP, I could never support a Prime Minister that shares their citizenship with a foreign country. That is inherently a conflict of interest of national proportion. So, I would like to vote Liberal but not until they stop relying on the Conservatives for policy.
Rick Geater,
Beeton
