Spring Shopping Event coming to the Shelburne Legion

April 15, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Next Saturday, April 25th, the Shelburne Legion will be filled with crafters and artisans, and shoppers looking for a unique find.
The ‘Spring Shopping Event’, organized by the owners of My Crafty Neighbour (MCN) Tara McCreadie and Laura Meakings, will feature products and services from over 40 local vendors – selling everything from bath and beauty products to wood crafts.
“We have a little bit of everything coming to the show,” Meakings told the Free Press. “From maple syrup, to clothing. Most of our vendors make their own wares, but we also have Avon and Epicure and Pazazz clothing is taking part too.”
Of course My Crafty Neighbour will have a booth as well, selling wood signs and decor items.
Although this is the first event for MCN at the Legion, Meakings and McCreadie had previously hosted a very successful Holiday Show last November.
“That show was a huge success and was a hit with the community!” confirms McCreadie, adding, “with the excitement that’s been building for the April 25th, 2015, show, we’re expect another spectacular day.”
The Spring Shopping Event takes place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and the event is listed on Facebook under MCN Spring Craft & Gift Show.
Admission to the show is free, but, “We are accepting food donations at the door for the Sheppards Cupboard Food Bank, and we will donating raffle proceeds to the food bank as well,” said Meakings.
For shoppers – in addition to the many fabulous finds, there will be swag bags, photos (by Mad River Photography), and hot meals provided by the Legion’s Ladies Auxiliary.
