Shelburne’s Christian Women’s Club spring into fashion

This past Tuesday the Shelburne Christian Women’s Club (CWC) held its monthly morning coffee at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (CDRC), themed “Lug a Mug” and spring into spring in style!
Featured at this months get together was local retailer Pazazz who hosted a fashion show consisting of clothing suited for hanging out in the backyard on the weekend to being Mother of the Bride. Pazazz carries wide range of brands such as Joseph Ribcoff, Orley, Tan Jay, Silver, Ali, Bali, Parker’s Sweaters, Tribal, Libra, Hatley, AJG Sport Outerwear as well as purses by Joanel which were all featured. Celeste Zugec, Inspirational Speaker/Singer travelled from Bratford to entertain the audience with her nostalgic musical journey featuring hits from the 1940’s to present day. Her silky smooth voice belted out old time favourite “Sentimental Journey” then went onto sing a parody of “Memories” which was changed to poke fun at becoming forgetful as we age. The Shelburne CWC will be having their Ladies Annual Spring Luncheon on May 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. themed “Lug a Mug” and let the party begin! This is a potluck at its best and will feature Nelson & Don in Song as well as the faith story of Peggy Bauman. This event will be held at the CDRC located at 200 Fiddle Park Lane and is $5 at the door and $1 for first time guests. Then again on June 9, plan to attend The Shelburne CWC’s Annual evening dinner.
