Two pedestrians injured in accident

Main Street Shelburne was closed between Victoria and Jelly St. and traffic re-routed for hours Monday afternoon and evening after a serious accident involving a young woman and 28 year old male pedestrian. Police say they responded to the collision involving the two pedestrians and two motor vehicles at 2:35 pm on April 13th. A 21 year old woman was taken to Headwaters Hospital and air lifted to Sunny Brook hospital in critical life threatening condition. A 28 year old male pedestrian was treated for minor injuries and released. The occupants of the two vehicles were not injured. OPP investigators were requested by Shelburne Police who are asking for any witnesses relevant to the collision to come forward: 519-925-3312.
