So far the month of April has proven to be a busy one at the branch.
Monday a fairly large group come play euchre, registration is at 1:30 p.m. play begins at 2 p.m. They always welcome new players and you do not need to be a member to play.
Monday evenings we have Bingo with a $1,000 jackpot and many more prizes, doors open early and play begins at 7 p.m. This is also a open event.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are just casual days come on in and take a tour. Becoming a member is easier than you think, just ask the Bartender for a application and they would be happy to assist in filling it out.
Thursday evenings is our Sports Night, we have euchre at 7 p.m. Crokinole, darts, cribbage and pool are also available this night.
Friday April 24th is our first Spring Jam Night with Andre (aka Pepe) and Mark as your hosts. If you are a musician a singer or just love good music come on out and enjoy! It begins at 8 p.m. and “Sue Chef” will be there with some tasty food.
Up coming events are: Wing Night with DJ Gerry Daniels on May 1st. May 23rd is Trivia night hosted by Nikki Williams, there is still time to sign up. The Cadet Annual and Anniversary will be on June 6th. June 20th is Heritage Day. The Legion is happy to say they are working with the Heritage Committee and this years event is going to be bigger and better than ever with Bed Races, Soap Box Races, Car Show, Bike Show and Shine as well as many other activities. Save that date on your calendar and take a trip to the past with Jelly Days as the theme this year.
Elections are on April 28th, good luck to all of those that get nominated.
