Aabir Dey was the recent guest speaker, at the April Shelburne & District Horticultural Society meeting, from the Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security. “It was a very interesting evening learning about building a national seed bank to increase the quality, quantity and diversity of ecologically produced seed in Canada,” said Cathy Brown, Shelburne & District Horticultural Society representative. Aabir is pictured with Horticultural Director Colette Whiting. The next Horticultural Society meeting takes place on Tuesday, May 19th with guest speaker Katie Dawson of Cut & Dried Flower Farm.
