The members and executive of Branch 220 would like to thank the Town of Shelburne for their support during the Poppy Campaign. We will have the final numbers by next press time. Thank you to the Free Press for all of the media coverage on Remembrance Day. We are proud to be citizens of Shelburne and were very impressed with the amount of adults and students that joined us for our services and dinner on the 11th.
This Sunday November 22nd, we will be having a Meat Spin beginning at 2 p.m.
November 24th is the General Meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. This is the time that if you have any concerns or suggestions for the executive to come out and speak up.
We are all volunteers at the Legion and it takes quite a few of us to do the functions. If you are interested in helping out please contact the branch at 519 925-3800.
The Ladies Auxiliary are also volunteers. If you are interested in joining this wonderful group of women please contact Mary Warman.
Early Bird is almost over, come in and pay your 2016 dues now for $45 or pay $55 after December 1st.
If you are a Veteran or know a Veteran, please come join their group every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for casual conversation, coffee and treats and lots of laughs.
Our next wing night will be November 27th with DJ Rob Martin.
