14 year old Tanner Hamilton from north of Shelburne has had great Go Kart success this year in a new Intrepid Kart, including winning the Canadian Nationals in the Jr. Briggs Championship. Starting in the spring and ending in the fall, Tanner has raced 23 races, winning both Goodwood and Mosport Jr. Briggs Championships as well as Nationals. Seen here with his father earlier this month, when Tanner received his Championship Trophies at the annual banquet. Tanner’s home clubs are Goodwood Kartways and Mosport Kartways and he and his team M/T Pockets Motorsports would like to thank the sponsors that have helped him this season: Glenn Jack- I Pro Realty, Jamieson & Son Roofing, Tim Hortons – Dundalk, Sanoh Canada, Lystek, Ice River Springs, DeSilva Video Creations and the Di Leo Family Intrepid team. Tanner is looking forward to next year’s racing season already and can’t wait to be back on the track. He hopes to one day be a F1 driver.
