Take note of “NEW” stop signs

Recently, the Town of Shelburne erected new stop signs on First Avenue (east and west) at Jelly Street, and again at Jelly Street (on the south side) at Andrew Street to slow down traffic.
Both of these intersections are now four way stops and this past weekend many people have voiced their complaints on a local Facebook page, Shelburne Area Q&A and Resource Hub, about the number of cars driving right through these new signs.
This just shows how much people don’t pay attention when driving!
