It includes information on the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex Swimming Pool summer programming, swimming lessons and public swimming schedules as well as programs for becoming a lifeguard.

The Recreation Guide also includes all the information on the CDRC Summer Day Camp program that will keep the kids busy and entertained all summer long. Open registration for these programs will begin Monday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday. An evening registration is scheduled Wednesday, May 25 from 4 – 8 p.m.

The Shelburne Jr. ‘C’ Vets Lacrosse Team’s home opening game is Friday, May 6 at 8 p.m. vs Halton Hills Bulldogs. “This one could be Ruff!”

The next Party Rockers dance is Friday, May 6 from 7 to 10 p.m. These dances are suited for youth aged 7 to 13 and the dances are chaperoned by Skate Canada Shelburne volunteers as a club fundraiser.

The cost is $10 per person.

Come to the CDRC on Sunday, May 8 for an afternoon of dancing, socializing, meeting new friends and just a whole lot of fun at the Old Time Country Jamboree from 1 – 5 p.m.

It is an open mic afternoon, so feel free to join in. Admission is $5 and light refreshments will be available. This is the last Jamboree for the season until November. Sponsored by Picking in the Park.

Start your Tuesday off with a smile; the Shelburne Christian Women’s Club will meet again at the CDRC on Tuesday, May 10 with coffee being served from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m. The “Pots for the Veranda” presentation will inspire you to plant a beautiful pot for your veranda, deck, patio or balcony so you may sit back and enjoy your personal oasis.
