The Muslims of Shelburne Centre and Islamic Relief Canada partnered on Tuesday (April 20) for an Iftar Drive Thru, in celebration of Ramadan.
Members of the mosque and charity handed out a warm iftar meal, which ends Muslims’ daytime fasting during Ramadan, to community members.
Yehya Soliman is the founder of the Muslims of Shelburne Centre, the Town’s first mosque, located on Hwy. 89 outside of Shelburne.
The Iftar Drive Thru in Shelburne marked Islamic Relief Canada’s first of 2021, with donations helping feed families in Yemen.
