The Shelburne Senior Muskies are done for the season after losing their A championship series to the Milverton Four Wheel Drives in a series that went the full seven games.
In the final game, the Muskies took a 4-2 loss on Milverton home ice on Feb. 21.
The A championship pitted the four bottom teams in the league against each other in a consolation playoff.
The Muskies finished well down in the standings this season with an 11th-place finish out of 12 teams.
Milverton got the lead in the first game on Feb. 5, leaving the ice with a 5-2 win. The series was tied after the second game when Shelburne bounced back and won 5-4.
Milverton was again leading after a 2-1 score in game three.
Shelburne had their highest-scoring game of the series when they won 8-3 in game four.
It all came down to one game when the Muskies won game six, 5-1, to tie the series and force game seven.
The series ended with Milverton winning 4-2.
In the other A series battle, the Shallow Lake Crushers won that series in four games over the Lucknow Lancers after winning game six 5-3 on Feb. 18.
Milverton and Shallow Lake will now battle it out for the A championship.
In the WOAA senior AA championship semi-final round, the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are up against the Ripley Wolves. In the other semi-final series, the Seaforth Centenaires are up against the Tavistock Royals.
The winners of those semi-final series will battle it out for the WOAA championship.
