Pro golfer from Shelburne raises funds for kid with diabetes

Tournament participants were able to meet some celebrities during the Dufferin Diabetes Day of Champions tournament held at the Shelburne Golf and Country Club on Monday, July 28. NHL star Darryl Sittler, centre, and pro golfer and Canadian Diabetes ambassador David Markle, far right, greet tournament participants on the ninth hole where they had the chance to tee off with Sittler. On the green are Shelburne Police Chief Kent Moore, and local residents Chris Hare, Murray Fines, and Brent Milsap. The tournament raised funds to help children with diabetes attend summer camp.
